Global Debut of CF250+PPS250

The highlight of TPM3D’s booth was the CF250+PPS250, the second-generation compact professional SLS system developed as an upgrade to the CF200.

The CF250 features a 250 × 250 × 320 mm build volume while occupying just 0.53 m² of floor space. Compared with the previous generation, the system increases build capacity by 67% and can deliver up to 133% higher part output per build, depending on part configuration.

Designed for flexible deployment, the CF250 supports standard 220V power, making it suitable for laboratories, R&D environments, small workshops, and other spaces where a full-scale industrial installation may not be practical.

The system is paired with the PPS250 powder processing station, which integrates depowdering, sieving, powder mixing, and powder feeding into a streamlined workflow. This helps reduce manual powder handling and supports a cleaner, more efficient SLS production process.

P360 Demonstrates Industrial-Scale SLS

Alongside the new CF250, TPM3D showcased its established P360 industrial SLS 3D printer, demonstrating the company’s capabilities for larger-scale and higher-volume production.

Together, the CF250 and P360 represented TPM3D’s product range from compact professional SLS systems to industrial production platforms, giving visitors a closer look at solutions for different manufacturing requirements.

SLS Applications Across Multiple Industries

The TPM3D booth also featured a wide range of finished parts and application samples.

Visitors could see SLS-produced components for robotics, automotive, medical and rehabilitation, footwear, industrial applications, and consumer products.

From lightweight lattice structures and flexible robotic components to medical orthotics and functional housings, these parts demonstrated how SLS can produce complex geometries and functional polymer components without conventional support structures.

The application showcase reflected TPM3D’s focus on moving SLS beyond prototyping and into practical manufacturing applications.

Sharing SLS Expertise in Footwear and Robotics

During the exhibition, TPM3D technical experts also participated in the conference program with two industry presentations.

Rongdong Deng, Director of Footwear Industry Development at TPM3D, presented “Innovative Applications of SLS 3D Printing Technology Combined with Supercritical Foaming,” sharing insights into the development of SLS applications for footwear.

TPM3D also welcomed customers, partners, and industry media to the booth throughout the three-day event, with discussions covering the CF250’s product development, compact SLS solutions, and the growing application of SLS in footwear, robotics, and other industries.

Looking Ahead

With more than two decades of experience in SLS technology and over 90 national patents, TPM3D continues to develop SLS printing systems, powder processing solutions, and application technologies for polymer additive manufacturing.

The launch of CF250+PPS250 marks another step in making professional SLS more accessible while continuing to support industrial-scale production with platforms such as the P360.

As Formnext Asia Shenzhen comes to a close, TPM3D looks forward to continuing its work with customers and partners to explore new applications and bring SLS technology into more real-world manufacturing environments.
