SLS for Industrial Applications

The booth focused on finished parts and application examples, giving visitors a closer look at how polymer SLS can be used beyond prototyping.

SLS enables the production of complex geometries, lightweight structures, customized components, and functional parts without dedicated tooling. This makes it suitable for applications that require design flexibility, shorter development cycles, and efficient production of customized or small- to medium-batch parts.

The displayed applications covered different manufacturing requirements, from functional components and structural parts to customized products. By presenting physical parts rather than machine specifications alone, TPM3D and Nanjing Superior 3D Technology highlighted practical approaches to integrating SLS into existing production workflows.

Connecting SLS Technology with Manufacturing Needs

During the three-day exhibition, the joint booth attracted visitors from a range of industrial sectors. Discussions focused on practical considerations such as part design, material selection, production requirements, and SLS workflow integration.

As manufacturers continue to adopt more flexible and digitally enabled production methods, additive manufacturing is becoming part of an increasingly diverse range of industrial workflows. SLS offers particular advantages for producing complex polymer parts without tooling, supporting both product development and production applications.

TPM3D will continue working with Nanjing Superior 3D Technology and its wider partner network to expand the practical use of SLS technology across industries. By combining industrial SLS systems, material capabilities, and application expertise, TPM3D aims to support manufacturers in developing and producing complex parts more efficiently.
