TPM3D and EVONIK Join Forces to Develop New 3D Printing Materials

On August 24th, TPM3D formalized a strategic partnership with EVONIK, marking a new chapter in additive manufacturing material development. The signing ceremony highlighted the companies’ shared commitment to advancing high-performance polymer solutions for 3D printing.

EVONIK, a global leader in specialty chemicals, serves industries including automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, medical, oil and gas, and additive manufacturing. Its high-performance polymer division produces advanced 3D printing powders and brings extensive expertise in polymer applications for additive manufacturing.

Founded in 1999, TPM3D is a pioneering 3D printing technology company in China, specializing in selective laser sintering (SLS). Over more than 20 years, TPM3D has developed 10 types of SLS printing systems—including the S and P series—and more than 20 polymer materials such as PA6, PA11, PA12, TPU, PP, PPS, and PEEK. These solutions are widely applied across automotive, consumer electronics, medical, education, and aerospace sectors.

Through this collaboration, TPM3D will leverage its expertise in laser sintering technology, while EVONIK contributes its leadership in materials innovation. Together, the companies will develop new SLS polymer materials, expanding the potential applications of additive manufacturing in industrial production.
