The four-day Formnext 2025 exhibition has officially come to a close at Messe Frankfurt, marking another milestone for the global additive manufacturing industry. TPM3D, a provider of industrial SLS 3D printing solutions, made a strong impression with the world premiere of its new compact SLS system, upgraded industrial post-processing solutions, and high-performance materials.
Under the theme of “Efficient, Clean, and Easy-to-Use,” TPM3D presented a full-process product matrix that highlights major breakthroughs in SLS innovation and multi-industry applications.
Compact Series Debut and Upgraded Post-Processing
At the show, TPM3D unveiled its brand-new Compact Series — the CF200 SLS 3D printer paired with the PPS200 post-processing unit — as well as the upgraded PPS V3.0 industrial powder management workstation. These launches became major highlights among professionals and signaled TPM3D’s continued investment in SLS system R&D.
CF200 + PPS200: Compact, Clean, and Designed for Agile Production
Developed for R&D prototyping and small-batch manufacturing, the CF200+PPS200 combination directly addresses common challenges of traditional industrial SLS systems — large footprints, complex operation, and powder dispersion.
-
Footprint under 1 m² for laboratory, workshop, and office environments
-
220V power compatibility and intuitive operation requiring no specialized technicians
-
30W fiber laser with a 200 × 200 × 320 mm build volume
-
Supports PA11, PA12, TPU, and other polymers for high-precision small and mid-size parts
-
PPS200 enables sealed powder transfer + negative-pressure protection, minimizing powder leakage while automating depowdering, powder recovery, mixing, and printer feeding
Together, CF200 and PPS200 form an efficient, clean, and closed-loop workflow suited for agile production environments.
PPS V3.0: Industrial Efficiency Upgraded
As the third-generation system in TPM3D’s integrated powder management line, PPS V3.0 offers major improvements:
-
20% reduction in footprint
-
90% lower compressed-air consumption
-
50% faster cleaning efficiency
-
Supports “one system for two large-format printers” including the P550DL and S600DL
-
Enables continuous full-height printing without manual intervention
These upgrades reduce labor requirements and operational costs for industrial users, reinforcing TPM3D’s position as a leader in closed-loop SLS production systems.
CF200 Global Launch on Technology Stage
On November 18, TPM3D was invited to present on Formnext’s Technology Stage, where the company formally launched the CF200 to an international audience. TPM3D application engineers explained the design philosophy behind the Compact Series: a “small yet powerful” system built to lower adoption barriers for SMEs and research institutes while delivering a clean and highly automated SLS workflow through synergy with the PPS200.
Multi-Industry Applications: From Industrial Engineering to Art and Design
TPM3D showcased a diverse collection of application samples demonstrating the maturity and versatility of SLS across sectors.
Industrial & Medical Applications
-
Precision functional components and metal 3D printer air ducts illustrated SLS advantages in complex internal geometries, offering an efficient alternative to traditional manufacturing.
-
In medical applications, customized scoliosis braces and cervical supports demonstrated TPM3D’s experience in digital orthotics, highlighting the benefits of ergonomic, precision-printed solutions.
Consumer Products: Precision and Creativity at Work
-
Hollow mechanical keyboard keycaps with RGB effects and ergonomic tactile feedback
-
Lightweight laptop shells
-
3D-printed footwear and custom eyewear frames
These samples underscored TPM3D’s strengths in fine detail, lightweight design, and mass customization.
Art & Design: Technology Meets Creativity
Large-format sculptural works “Utopia” and “Spring Sea Silk Waves,” created in collaboration with Tsinghua University’s Academy of Arts & Design, became standout attractions. Their intricate lattice structures showcased SLS’s reliability and stability in producing large, complex artistic forms.
High-Performance Materials
TPM3D also introduced two new SLS materials:
-
Precimid 1190: High-toughness co-polymer nylon with excellent impact resistance for structural parts
-
Precimid 1174Pro CF: High-temperature, carbon-fiber-reinforced PA12 for automotive and aerospace applications requiring heat resistance + high strength
The addition of these materials strengthens TPM3D’s integrated ecosystem of hardware, materials, and application solutions, enabling more targeted support for global customers.
High Traffic and Strong Media Attention
Throughout the four-day exhibition, TPM3D’s booth remained one of the busiest in Hall 11.0, attracting professionals, potential clients, researchers, and industry experts.
Media outlets, including 3D Natives, Voxelmatters, and ALL3DP, conducted interviews and published in-depth reports, further expanding TPM3D’s global reach.
Looking Ahead
Although Formnext 2025 has concluded, TPM3D’s mission to drive innovation in additive manufacturing continues. The exhibition served not only as a global stage to showcase the company’s latest R&D outcomes but also as a platform for deeper cooperation with partners and customers worldwide.
TPM3D will continue advancing its full-process additive manufacturing solutions — spanning equipment, materials, and workflows — to empower digital transformation and intelligent manufacturing across global industries.
